We're getting close to our 1-year anniversary, and as many of you know, we're planning some big surprises. But before that, we need to talk honestly about the future of our Minecraft server.
To keep the server running and continue development, we need more consistent player activity. As of now, we are planning to shut down the Minecraft server on October 1st, 2025, if activity doesn’t improve.
No need to worry — all builds, inventories, and data are backed up and safe.
What we need to stay active:
At least 3–5 players online every 2 days
Players should be online at the same time for 30 minutes to 1 hour
If this level of activity isn’t met:
Development will be paused
The server will be backed up to our cloud
The Minecraft server will be shut down temporarily
Our Discord and website will stay active. If we see enough renewed interest, the server can return — stronger than ever.
How you can help:
Share videos and content about CartMC on social media
Invite friends and promote the server on different platforms
Vote for us in-game — every vote boosts our visibility
If the server is revived, we’ll launch Season 3:
Your builds, inventories, and money will be saved
Only the Towns world will be reset
No tickets needed — we’ll automatically restore your builds
